Some sketches from figure drawing this weekend.  Life kept me from the easel for the past couple of weeks so it felt great to stretch the eye muscles again.

My favorite part of this pose was the tension on his back foot.  I think I would have been satisfied if I just drew that foot.  However, it was such a fluid pose.  I’m glad I tackled the whole thing.

It was a good day.  I learned that I sold one of my figure drawings at the New Zone Gallery at my latest show, so that put a smile on my face for the afternoon.
